Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation Honoured with WESK Growth & Innovation Award 2025

We’re thrilled to share that Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation has been awarded the WESK Growth & Innovation Award 2025! This honour recognizes Saskatchewan women-led businesses that advance through vision, innovation, and measurable success—and it couldn’t be a more meaningful milestone for our community-driven practice.

A Bold Vision, Bringing Balance to Family Law

Founded in 2015 by Charmaine Panko, K.C., Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation was built on a vision to change how families experience separation, divorce, and co-parenting. Avoiding adversarial courtroom battles, our firm adopts Collaborative Law and mediation, empowering families to make decisions based on preserving dignity, finding clarity, and planning for long-term well-being.

Growth That Reflects Our Impact

Over the past year, our team has grown significantly—welcoming new lawyers, administrative staff, paralegals, and students to better support the increasing demand for respectful, out-of-court solutions. We’ve expanded our internal systems and refined our processes to enhance both efficiency and client care.

We’ve also broadened our service offerings with a new office location and additional mediation bundles, allowing us to serve more families with flexibility and compassion. This growth reflects our continued commitment to evolving with the needs of our clients and community.

Innovation at the Core

Our award-winning work blends legal clarity with heartfelt support—and technology plays a key role. Highlights include:

  • Client Experience Manager: A unique role responsible for a Client Care Program reset, from free discovery calls to “Remarkable Moment” gestures like thoughtful gift cards and custom sweatshirts.

  • Integrated CRM & CMS systems: These let us automate follow-ups, track progress, and maintain empathy without losing personal connection.

  • Mediation Bundles: Affordable, fixed-fee service packages.

Looking Forward

Winning the WESK Growth & Innovation Award fuels a bigger mission: launching a Collaborative Law Centre to house multi-disciplinary experts and establishing CommonSense Mediation Academy as a registered vocational institute. Our goal is to train more mediators, expand online reach, and build satellite offices across Saskatchewan.

This One’s for You

This award wouldn’t exist without the trust of our clients, the dedication of our team, and the encouragement of our community. Thank you to WESK for amplifying our message—and to everyone who believes that legal care can be healing, not harmful.

Let’s keep redefining family law—with compassion, innovation, and real-world impact at every turn. Here’s to a future full of collaborative solutions and empowered families!
