Lawyer

I was born and raised in Iran, living next to the beautiful Persian Gulf. I moved to Canada in 2016 to continue my graduate studies. Saskatoon became my home, and I found the cold winters quite interesting, something very different from the +50 degrees summer times I grew up with. In my previous jobs and volunteering roles, I realized that I enjoy helping others navigating their lives. Building upon the passion to help others, I decided to go to law school. During my legal education, I spent most of my time volunteering with different legal and newcomer initiatives such as CLASSIC Inc. (Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City Inc), Global Gathering Place, and Saskatoon Open Door Society. All of these experiences taught me the importance of community and helping others with their legal needs.

I joined Panko Collaborative Law and Mediation because I believe in the vision this place has for families in Saskatchewan, to work together to find solutions in a way that leave you feel empowered. Family legal matters do not have to be contentious, there are better ways to help families resolve their issues peacefully, through negotiation, mediation, and other collaborative approaches.

I also help individuals and families in other areas of the law. With my lived experiences as a newcomer to Canada, I enjoy assisting our clients with their immigration, refugee, and citizenship matters. When you think of planning for your future, you can count on me to provide you with drafting services for your will, power of attorney, and healthcare directive needs. When you need someone to walk you through your estate and probate matters, I will guide you each step of the way.

Saskatoon is home to many amazing community businesses. One of my greatest passions in law is to help families and individuals to set up, operate, and grow their businesses. Community and family businesses also have close connections to commercial and personal real estate matters, another area of the law that I can provide you with competent solutions. Helping you with your business and property matters and seeing your hard work grow into something impactful is an exciting moment and a great milestone for both of us.

This diverse practice of law helps me meet new people from different backgrounds, hear their life stories, and build new and lasting professional relationships with them.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You can always find me at different restaurants or at a nearby Cineplex watching the newest movie hits. I am also passionate about learning how to cook and bake, and I have yet to work on improving my bread making techniques. I am also an avid learner, and I enjoy taking workshops and classes at the university to sharpen my mind and hone my professional and personal skills.
