Panko Collaborative Law and Mediation Honoured as Excellence Awardee for Family Law Firm of the Year

Latest News

We’re honoured to share that Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation has been named a finalist for Family Law Firm of the Year at the 2025 Canadian Law Awards.

This recognition is a meaningful milestone for our team. It reflects the heart of our work, helping individuals and families navigate separation and other legal transitions with compassion and respect for the people involved.

Family law is about real people facing significant change. At Panko Collaborative Law and Mediation, we approach every matter, believing that even in times of conflict, it is possible to move forward respectfully, with dignity, and purpose

This year, we’ve had the privilege of supporting parents, reimagining their family dynamics, partners choosing peaceful separation, and individuals finding their voice in moments of uncertainty. We’ve walked alongside clients in mediation rooms, through the Collaborative process, and through emotionally difficult conversations—always keeping the focus on solutions that help preserve and repair relationships, reduce conflict, and create space for healing and growth.

We’re continually inspired by the strength of our clients. One client shared:

I could not be happier with the service provided to me. In the worst time in my life, I felt that it was family welcoming me and keeping my best interest at heart.

Another reflected:

During a challenging time in my life, Charmaine provided excellent support, facilitating productive discussions and helping us reach a fair agreement.

This nomination is also a tribute to our incredible team—lawyers, mediators, and support staff—who bring genuine care and professional excellence to their work.

Thank you to our clients, who trust us to be part of such personal and important chapters in their lives. And thank you to the Canadian Law Awards for recognizing the power of a non-adversarial, human-first approach to family law.

We’re honoured—and we’re just getting started!
